Dragon Pickaxe Is 10× Easier Now — AFK Chaos Giants (RS3)
A low-input Chaos Giant setup for farming the Dragon pickaxe after its drop rate improved from 1/10,000 to 1/1,000.

Requirements
Complete Birthright of the Dwarves to access Chaos Giants. They remain aggressive and drop stackable supplies, so bring enough sustain to handle several at once.
Sustain setups tested
- Soul Split, Bonecrusher, and a demon horn necklace: the strongest long-session setup tested in the video.
- Penance aura with Soul Split: restores Prayer from incoming damage and worked well with enough giants attacking.
- Vampyrism aura: usable without Soul Split, but the tested setup gradually lost health when several giants were attacking.
Protect the drop
A legendary pet collected the Dragon pickaxe shown in the video, but pets sometimes ignore nearby items. Use a loot-beam or Alt1 notification and stay close enough to respond.
- A charming imp can remove charm drops first, leaving fewer ground items for the pet.
- An augmented weapon with Scavenging is optional if you want passive Invention components while farming.
