Eastern Havenhythe: the five areas and the Heralds of Crimson preview
Berylbrook, Heathervein, Moonsylvar Wood, Fenmoor and Shuruk-Ba in the September 2026 story preview.
The eastern island before release
The September 2026 Havenhythe preview introduced five areas on the eastern half of the island and set up Heralds of Crimson. Part II subsequently released on September 28; the quest requirements and activities are covered in the release overview linked below.
The story preview had Inanna, Anya and Wendlewick preparing for an invasion by the Ghrazi Blood Knights, enormous vampyres from one of Vampyrium's great houses. Jagex also said the quest's concluding scenes would be voiced.
Berylbrook and Heathervein
Berylbrook was a fishing village before the Sanguine destroyed it and moved in. The preview showed werewolves hunting in packs, stronger alphas and hogfish around the village.
Heathervein is built around a huge quarry. Its werewolves had avoided the Sanguine, but access to the stone was guarded by Aurora, an enormous frog. The preview's route into Mining involved bringing her the right gift.
Moonsylvar Wood
Moonsylvar Wood was presented as a shifting forest: paths change, spiders lead travellers astray and Sanguine creatures can move the trees. Inanna's hidden den is somewhere inside.
That was one of the places I most wanted to explore. I wanted to get lost in a forest that could move around.
Fenmoor
Fenmoor is the swamp settlement home to bogolins, the swamp cousins of goblins. Its preview included petrified trees and other mid-to-high-level Woodcutting content, claret crabs to fish and new Farming patches connected to helping Bloodnose.
The release added the Bogolin Totem activity, which connects the gathered Woodcutting materials to Fletching and reward bundles. The requirements and material choices are explained in the Part II overview.
Shuruk-Ba and Divine Fall
Shuruk-Ba is the ruined seat of the Chimera Queen. The preview placed strigoi from Vampyrium here, following their appearance in Inanna's vision.
Deeper inside is Divine Fall, where memories of Havenhythe's dead colossi reveal more about what happened to them. The colossi also became the focus of the new Divination activity.
Anya's diary
The preview ended with Anya's diary. She was struggling to trust Inanna and the player while admitting that she was withholding the truth herself. She believed Blood Knights were already on the island and described a battle that would decide the fate of two worlds.
Her last line was that she only hoped they could forgive her.
